Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rodrigo Souza!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corner looks to throw the jab but Souza is out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Corner as Souza shoots in.
Souza forces Corner back against the cage and clinches.
Corner wants to get back to striking at distance but Souza won't allow it.
Corner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Souza bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Souza is looking to take a break and control but Corner is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Souza is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Corner is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Souza goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Corner has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Souza but great work by Corner.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Corner stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Souza on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Souza looks gassed!
Corner throws out a leg kick but Souza moves out of range and Corner only half commits.
Corner connects with a body shot.
Corner cracks Souza with a hook to the temple - Souza is on wobbly legs here! Corner swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Souza falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Corner wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tony Corner!
