Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Zirkhov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Woody Lightyear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Woody Lightyear will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lightyear lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lightyear.
Lightyear misses with a few strikes there.
Zirkhov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lightyear avoids it really well and circles away.
Zirkhov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lightyear swivels and escapes.
Zirkhov fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yuri Zirkhov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lightyear misses with a takedown

and Zirkhov counters with a shoot takedown. Lightyear fights it but they end up in guard.
Lightyear wants to control but Zirkhov passes easily into half guard.
Lightyear trying to get back to full guard but Zirkhov takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lightyear can do anything to dispel that myth.

Zirkhov working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Lightyear is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Zirkhov has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Lightyear taps out!
