Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remy Mintusovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mintusovich might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Moonlite Sonota. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Remy Mintusovich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bo Malone! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mintusovich shoots in looking for a takedown. Malone tries to sprawl out of it but Mintusovich keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Malone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mintusovich misses with a body kick. Malone drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Malone working some strikes from top position. Malone stopping the sweep attempt from Mintusovich. Mintusovich is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Mintusovich looking to hit a scissor sweep but Malone is one step ahead there. Mintusovich is looking to stand up but Malone isn't so interested in that idea. Malone passes Mintusovich's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Malone trying to pass the guard but Mintusovich defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mintusovich is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Malone scores with a couple of nice shots. Malone has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mintusovich is trying to stand up here but Malone is controlling him well. Malone trying to mount his opponent but Mintusovich defends it. Mintusovich is in trouble now - Malone has advanced to mount! Malone avoids the attempt from Mintusovich to control. Malone lands a heavy elbow. Mintusovich has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Malone is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Mintusovich controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mintusovich is breathing heavily. Malone tries to get the hooks in deep but Mintusovich pushed the leg off. Malone looking to break Mintusovich's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Mintusovich remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Malone will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Malone tries to get the hooks in deep but Mintusovich pushed the leg off. Malone is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Mintusovich is tapping out! This one is all over!
