0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Edward Hoerk! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Lewandowski does no damage. Danga de danga de dang - Lewandowski scores with a four punch combination! Lewandowski misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Lewandowski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hoerk shoots in looking for a takedown but Lewandowski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hoerk's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Lewandowski is looking to chop away at Hoerk's legs. A punch combination from Lewandowski misses. Hoerk shoots for a double leg takedown but Lewandowski sprawls well. He's pushed Hoerk's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hoerk fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lewandowski avoids it really well and circles away.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Lewandowski throws a right hand that Hoerk ducks under and follows up with a left that Hoerk also avoids with ease. Lewandowski misses with a few strikes there.
Hoerk shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lewandowski is trying to defend but Hoerk finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Hoerk is taking a breather. Lewandowski says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hoerk throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Hoerk slows the pace down in half guard. Hoerk wants to free his trapped foot but Lewandowski is holding on for dear life with his legs. Hoerk decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. A momentary lapse in concentration from Lewandowski enables Hoerk to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lewandowski manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Hoerk content to stall in guard here. Hoerk wants to pass the guard but Lewandowski is keeping the position. Lewandowski wants to get back to his feet but Hoerk is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Hoerk trying to control but Lewandowski is working from the bottom. Hoerk decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lewandowski, up you get! Hoerk moves into the clinch. Hoerk's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Hoerk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lewandowski keeps working.

That's nine minutes gone in the round. Lewandowski scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hoerk doesn't seem bothered though. Marcin Lewandowski is winning the standup battle so far. The fighters circle momentarily. Hoerk darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Hoerk will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hoerk fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lewandowski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hoerk circles away quickly and effectively. Hoerk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lewandowski's waist but Lewandowski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hoerk off to one side. Lewandowski goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Lewandowski throws a right and a left that Hoerk avoids nicely. Hoerk clinches up with Lewandowski and pushes him back against the cage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hoerk ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hoerk no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Lewandowski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hoerk manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

And that's the end of the fight! Edward Hoerk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
