Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Ware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Aldridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aldridge has chosen Mother Fucker Of The Year by Motley Crue as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Ware! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Aldridge! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ware darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Aldridge wants to get back to his feet.
Ware winds up and cracks Aldridge with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Ware with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ware seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Ware is pressing down on Aldridge's thigh, looking to free his foot. Aldridge is holding on for now. Ware is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ware content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Ware thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Aldridge is staying active underneath Ware, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ware keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Ware uses his free foot to push down on Aldridge's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Aldridge.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ware landing shots from mount. Ware can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Aldridge is looking to escape. Aldridge is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Ware controlling the position easily from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Peter Ware just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Ware tries to land a front kick but Aldridge steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Ware on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Aldridge. Aldridge obviously looking to wear him down.
Ware is breathing heavily. Aldridge tries to clinch up but Ware circles away and keeps his distance. Aldridge wants to clinch up but Ware keeps it at a distance. Ware tries to clinch up but Aldridge circles away and keeps his distance. Aldridge throws a front kick aimed at Ware's knee but Ware avoids it well. Ware clinches. Aldridge keeps control of Ware as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Aldridge breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A clash of legs there as Ware blocks the low kick. Aldridge fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ware sprawls well initially but Aldridge persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ware moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ware controls Aldridge momentarily but Aldridge frees himself. Ware thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Aldridge has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ware is proving hard to escape from. Ware striking off his back but it's not causing Aldridge any problems. Ware tries to strike from the bottom.
Ware trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Aldridge avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ware on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ware tries to get out of the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Aldridge rushes Ware and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Ware dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ware stuffs the takedown attempt from Aldridge. Aldridge gets slowly back to his feet. Aldridge walks into a stiff left hand from Ware. A left and a right from Ware both land. Nice combination. Aldridge gets caught flat footed, as Ware shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ware postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Aldridge wants to stand up but Ware is controlling him. Ware controls from within his opponent's guard. Aldridge is breathing heavily. Ware has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ware wants to control from the top but Aldridge keeps moving. Ware postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Ware postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ware is stalling in the full guard. Aldridge keeping full guard, as Ware tries to pass. Ware sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ware gets to his feet - Aldridge follows without any prompting. The fight stays on the outside here - Ware looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Aldridge takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Ware shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Aldridge's guard. Ware drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ware jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Aldridge scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Aldridge lands a left and a right that sends Ware crashing to the canvas! Aldridge dives into mount looking to finish!
It looks like Peter Ware has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aldridge tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Aldridge stands up from mount. Strange move. Aldridge wants to clinch up but Ware keeps it at a distance. Ware clinches up with Aldridge and pushes him back against the cage. Ware tries for a takedown. No joy.
Ware is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Aldridge pulls him back up using the underhooks. Ware escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ware lands a nice looking body shot.
A shot to de liver by Ware. Beautiful body shot. Ware throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Aldridge darts in trying to clinch and Ware counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Ware has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Aldridge is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Ware. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ware successfully pulls guard.
Ware lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Aldridge! Aldridge is squirming around, avoiding Ware's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ware is landing with some decent strikes but Aldridge is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Ware can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Aldridge is looking to escape. Aldridge wants to try and get back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ware controlling his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Ware dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Peter Ware's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Aldridge is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aldridge manages to kick Ware off! Ware jumps back into Aldridge's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ware lands a couple of elbows. Ware postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ware showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Ware stops Aldridge from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ware controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Ware trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ware stays in close to Aldridge's body and controls the position. Ware drops back looking for a leg! Aldridge is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aldridge manages to kick Ware off! Ware jumps back into Aldridge's guard. Ware won't allow Aldridge to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ware wants to control from the top but Aldridge keeps moving. Ware trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Aldridge manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Ware looking for a sweep. Not yet Ware, not yet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Ware circles away from the clinch attempt.
Aldridge shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ware but Ware pushes him off and we're back to square one. Aldridge tries to clinch up and Ware counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Ware throws a combination that misses and Aldridge connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Peter Ware is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ware throws a head kick that misses. Ware fails in his attempt to clinch. Aldridge connects with a jab. Ware moves into the clinch. Aldridge pulls guard successfully.
Ware prevents Aldridge from getting back to his feet. Ware trying to control but Aldridge is working from the bottom. Ware is in close to Aldridge's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ware postures up and lands a big shot to Aldridge's brow.
And that's the end of the fight! Peter Ware showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ware, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
