Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Nakata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micheal Havel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Micheal Havel will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shinya Nakata! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Micheal Havel! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Nakata finds it's way through Havel's defenses. Havel scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Nice body punch from Havel. Nakata throws a lazy right hand but Havel sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Good standup being displayed there by Nakata as he connects with a hook. Nakata lands a body shot.
Nakata throws an overhand right that lands on Havel's shoulder, as Havel tries to avoid the shot. Havel with a jab. Havel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Havel digs a good hook to Nakata's body.
A lazy left from Havel finds it's target. Nakata shoots in for a takedown but Havel shows good takedown defense. Havel wants to clinch. The fighters circling - Nakata throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A decent looking cross lands there for Havel. Havel ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Nakata feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Nakata trying to control the position from guard on top but Havel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nakata landing some decent shots from guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakata prevents Havel from getting back to his feet. Nakata wants to control from the top but Havel keeps moving. Nakata might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Nakata won't allow Havel to get back to his feet. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nakatais looking to pass into half guard but Havel pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Havel is in guard. Nakata looking for a sweep. Not yet Nakata, not yet. Nakata looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Havel has picked Nakata up and slammed him! Nakata can't keep hold of the triangle and Havel manages to pass to side control! Nakata looks to move to half guard but instead Havel has passed into mount! Damn! Nakata sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Nakata wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakata is working hard here to advance position. Havel wants to stand up but Nakata is controlling the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nakata tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Havel has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Nakata is working to get back to half guard.
Nakata bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Havel bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Nakata's head backwards. Nakata really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Havel bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Nakata's head. Nakata fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Nakata avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Havel is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Havel defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nakata. Havel cracks Nakata with a good jab. Havel throws a right hand that Nakata ducks under and follows up with a left that Nakata also avoids with ease. Nakata shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shinya Nakata. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nakata on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Havel takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Havel clinches with his opponent.
Havel lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Havel lands a body shot in the clinch.
Havel presses Nakata against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Havel. Nakata drops down looking for an ankle pick but Havel pulls his leg out and moves away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Havel scores with a decent looking hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Havel fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nakata looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. A slow jab from Nakata misses its intended target. Havel fails in his attempt to clinch. Havel tries to clinch up. Havel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nakata circles away quickly and effectively. Havel scores with a three punch combo!
Havel wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Nakata takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Havel connects with a single shot there. Nakata misses with a looping left. Havel stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Havel cracks Nakata with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Havel defending well as Nakata loads up on a big left hand. Nakata shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Havel lands a right hook to the body.
Havel clobbers Nakata with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Havel forces Nakata back against the cage and clinches. Havel stalling against the cage.
Nakata takes a shot to the head. Nakata tries to pull guard but Havel holds him up against the cage and eventually Nakata drops back down to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Come on Havel - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Nakata drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Havel gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Havel pushes Nakata back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Havel lands a shoulder strike. Havel has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Nakata takes a shot to the head. Nakata's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Havel slowing the pace effectively. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A right handed body shot lands from Havel.

Nakata is rocked! Havel dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Havel lands a right hand that snaps the head of Nakata backwards. Oh Nakata is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A shot in the inside from Havel. Havel works on Nakata's body with a couple of short punches. Havel lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Nakata backwards. Havel lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Havel keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
