Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hade Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Fable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wood comes to the cage accompanied by Mama Said Knock You Out. Fable has chosen Dragonfly by Shaman's Harvest as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fable misses with a looping right.
Fable throws a low kick, looking for Wood's leg but Wood calmly moves out of range.
Fable just misses with a punch to the body.

Wood drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
An elbow from Wood crashes against the mat.
Fable is not content to let Wood control the position.
Fable is trying to improve his position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fable can do anything to dispel that myth.
The ground and pound from Wood seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
You can see the frustration on Fable's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Fable is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wood's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Wood stalling away here and it's allowed Fable to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fable wants to stand and escape but Wood is having none of it.
Fable is adopting a defensive guard.

Fable is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wood is controlling him.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Fable pulls Wood in close to prevent any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Wood lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Fable finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Wood swats away the attempt to clinch by Fable.
Wood fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fable misses the shot to the body.

Wood scores with a nice right hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fable. Wood does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fable gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Wood cracks Fable with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Wood misses with the combination.
Fable lands a nice shot to the body.
Wood looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fable looks for the body kick but Wood saw that one coming.
Fable lands a right hook to the body.
Fable connects with a solid leg kick.

Fable fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wood manages to avoid it.

Wood shoots in for a takedown but Fable shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fable closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Fable avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wood ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fable lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wood's sensitive parts.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dexter Fable seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Wood takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fable.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fable, right into the meat.

Fable tests Wood's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Wood is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fable finds Wood's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Wood flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Fable lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Wood will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dexter Fable!
