Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kinho Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howard comes to the cage accompanied by The Outlaw Torn. Santos is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Chapa C - lloraras por mi. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kinho Santos!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Howard misses.
Howard has closed the distance and engaged Santos in a clinch.
Santos drags the fight down to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Santos wants to stand and escape but Howard is having none of it.
Santos is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Howard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Santos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Santos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Howard controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Howard has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Santos pushes Howard off and scrambles back to his feet.
Howard scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
It looks like Kinho Santos has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Howard swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Howard fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Santos on the side of the head.
Howard looks to score with a jab to the body but Santos is just out of range.
Santos shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Santos doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Santos looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
A slapping body kick lands there for Howard.
Santos drops his hands momentarily. Howard doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Santos staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Santos doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jake Howard!
