Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yngwie Malmsteen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fail Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malmsteen comes to the cage accompanied by I am a viking. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yngwie Malmsteen! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fail Sonnen! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malmsteen throws a chopping leg kick but Sonnen manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Sonnen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Malmsteen works the jab nicely. Malmsteen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Malmsteen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sonnen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Malmsteen with a nice cross. Malmsteen blocks a jab. Malmsteen throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Malmsteen works over Sonnen's head and body with a nice combination. Malmsteen fakes the leg kick and cracks Sonnen in the body. No joy there for Malmsteen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A combination from Malmsteen does no damage. Good leg kick by Malmsteen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A nice combination there by Malmsteen.
Sonnen scores a takedown into full mount! Malmsteen is squirming around, avoiding Sonnen's attempts to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sonnen punishing his opponent with strikes. Sonnen pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Sonnen misses with a head shot. Poor strikes thrown by Sonnen there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Sonnen with good strikes from the mount here! Malmsteen holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Sonnen tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Sonnen cracks Malmsteen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Sonnen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Malmsteen is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Sonnen locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Malmsteen is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Fail Sonnen! Fail Sonnen is the new middleweight champion!
