The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foote throws a hook to the side of Miller's head but Miller sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A big left from Foote misses.
Miller tries to clinch but Foote is having none of it.
Foote tries a low kick but Miller avoids it.
Miller misses with a head kick.
Foote keeps the fight on the outside.
Foote fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Miller manages to avoid it.
Foote throws a body kick that misses.
Foote misses with an uppercut.
Foote throws a body punch but Miller moves out of range.
Foote checks a low kick from Miller.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Miller shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Foote makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Foote.
Foote wants to sweep but no luck.

That's one minute gone in the round.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Foote is on top in guard.

Foote has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Miller wants to sweep here but Foote controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Foote accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Foote thows a big elbow that misses.
Foote postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Miller wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Foote. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Miller has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Foote to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Miller is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Foote pulls down on the head and he's put Miller to sleep! This one is all over!
