Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stran Gler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mido Post (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stran Gler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mido Post!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Post clinches up against the cage.
Gler misses with some punches.

Post breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Post doesn't manage to clinch there - Gler circles away.

Post has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gler uses from the top position.
Gler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Post swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Post looking to sit in guard and control but Gler gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Post keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stran Gler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Post wants to clinch.

Post scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Post seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gler does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Post circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gler fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Post manages to avoid it.
Post throws a right hand that Gler ducks under and follows up with a left that Gler also avoids with ease.
Gler takes one to the chin there.
Post closes the distance looking to clinch

and Gler counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gler.
Post wants to get back to his feet but Gler is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Gler decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Post tries to clinch there but Gler circles away.
Post dives in and grabs Gler's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gler pushes down on Post's head and hops out.

Post rushes Gler and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Post breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gler is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Post.
Post lands a really nice looking cross but Gler seems unphased.
Gler looks for the body kick but Post saw that one coming.
Post wants to clinch up but Gler keeps it at a distance.
Mido Post seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Post gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Post is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gler has escaped the position, nice work there.
Post misses with the ground and pound.
Post working away.
Mido Post has got the better of the ground game so far.
Post scores with punches from side control.
Gler tries to strike from the bottom but misses.

Post thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Gler regains half guard.
Gler is refusing to be controlled, as Post sits in half guard.
Gler moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Gler is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Post is controlling him.
Post lands a couple of digs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Post is just content to waste time from the top position. Gler takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Gler lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Post!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Post can do anything to dispel that myth.

Post is desperately trying to improve his position but Gler has a good base and remains in mount.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Gler manages to capitalize on a mistake by Post to take his back!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
You can see the frustration on Post's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
