Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eric Correa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and destiny hurd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hurd shoots for a takedown but Correa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Correa.

Correa working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Correa is trying to get an arm triangle but hurd is defending well.

hurd manages to work his way to half guard, despite Correa's best efforts.

hurd bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Correa's guard.

Correa has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for hurd. Oh but Correa has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! hurd goes limp - he's gone! Correa jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
