Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Hebert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Burnbuckle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burnbuckle has chosen Rocky Balboa Theme as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Hebert! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Burnbuckle! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burnbuckle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hebert pinned against the cage. Hebert gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hebert decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hebert thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Burnbuckle's head. Burnbuckle avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hebert. Burnbuckle pushes Hebert off looking to stand but Hebert dives back in and keeps control.
Hebert has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hebert wants to free his trapped foot but Burnbuckle is holding on for dear life with his legs. Hebert uses his free foot to push down on Burnbuckle's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Burnbuckle. Hebert takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Hebert scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Burnbuckle?
That's one minute gone in the round. Burnbuckle is working to get back to half guard.
Hebert controlling from the full mount. Hebert breaks from Burnbuckle's wrist control and lands an elbow. Burnbuckle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hebert. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hebert sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Hebert landing punches. Burnbuckle looks gassed! Hebert controlling the pace for now. Hebert's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hebert is in the full mount, landing strikes. Hebert controlling from mount. Burnbuckle flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Hebert quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Hebert but it's paid off an Burnbuckle is forced to tap! Nice work by Hebert.
