Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Helling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dima Kot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michael Helling! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dima Kot! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kot lands a head kick. Helling smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Nice takedown defense from Helling. No joy for Kot on that attempt. Helling stuffs the takedown. Helling stuffs the takedown attempt from Kot. Kot gets slowly back to his feet. Michael Helling has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dima Kot. Kot tries to clinch up but Helling circles away and keeps his distance. Kot slips a jab and a cross from Helling.
Helling misses with a low kick.
Helling shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Helling working Kot over with strikes. Helling not landing any meaningful shots this time. Helling throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Helling working Kot over with strikes. Helling seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Kot taking some punishment here, with Helling in his half guard. Kot is pressing down on Helling's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Helling will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Helling throws and elbow that misses. Kot uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Helling's guard. Nice move by Kot! Helling wants to sweep here but Kot controlling him for the moment. Helling keeping moving, preventing Kot from controlling successfully. Kot looks gassed! Helling has a closed guard, preventing Kot from standing up. Helling wants to get back to his feet but Kot is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Helling is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Helling has control of Kot's left arm, preventing Kot from doing any damage. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Helling looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Helling knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kot on the ground. Helling not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Helling thows a huge punch but Kot dodges it nicely.
Helling is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Helling not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kot looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Helling seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Helling wants to pass the guard but Kot is defending well. Helling looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kot with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Helling working the head and body with strikes. Helling takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Helling is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Helling is nestled in close to Kot, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Kot is not content to let Helling control the position. Helling controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Helling scoring with strikes to the body and head.
It looks like Dima Kot has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Helling wants to control but Kot is keeping him busy. Helling working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Helling connects with a nice short shot to Kot's temple. Helling working over Kot with some ground and pound. Kot looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Nice strikes from Helling there. Nice strikes from Helling there. Helling is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Helling is looking to take a break and control but Kot is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Helling lands a nice short elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Helling dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dima Kot's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Helling shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kot working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Helling doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Helling manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Helling with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Kot being controlled here, momentarily. Helling cracks Kot with a solid left hand. Helling stays in close to Kot's body and controls the position. Helling has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Helling in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kot working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Helling. Kot is breathing heavily. Kot has a closed guard, preventing Helling from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Helling's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Helling trying to control the position from guard on top but Kot is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Helling scoring with some ground and pound.
That has opened up Dima Kot's cut even more. Helling is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Helling connects with a couple of short punches.
Dima Kot's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dima Kot's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Michael Helling!
