Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masaru Hirai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jin Kazama!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hirai shoots in looking for a takedown. Kazama tries to sprawl out of it but Hirai keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kazama manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Some wild striking there from Kazama.
Hirai jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hirai throws a head kick but Kazama moves out of range.
Hirai drops Kazama with a beautiful combination! Kazama stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hirai is looking for the KO!
It looks like Jin Kazama has been cut.
Kazama throws a big shot that misses.
Hirai feints a jab and as Kazama dips his head, Hirai unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Kazama right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Kazama falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Hirai smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Masaru Hirai!
