Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between simo selvinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Brava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, simo selvinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
selvinen fails to land the takedown.
Brava gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Brava slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Let's hope that Brava has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

selvinen has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Brava is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for selvinen.
Brava is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down selvinen's shoulder. That is not cool.

Well Brava has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
