Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between LeBron Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LeBron Johnson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, LeBron Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin James! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Johnson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Johnson tries to clinch there but James circles away.
James slips a jab and a cross from Johnson.
Johnson throws a series of punches but James moves out of range. James stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Johnson. James throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Johnson is breathing heavily. Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A jab from James does it's job there. Johnson keeps the fight on the outside. James swings for the body but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. James doesn't manage to clinch there - Johnson circles away.
James shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. James tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard. James passes easily into side control. Nice work. James decides to take the fight back to the feet. James tries to land a front kick but Johnson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

James looks to score with a jab to the body but Johnson is just out of range. James pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A leg kick checked by James. James tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away. James tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. James swings for the body but Johnson moves out of range.

Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

James breaks the clinch.
Johnson throws a right hand that James ducks under and follows up with a left that James also avoids with ease. Johnson throws out a leg kick but James moves out of range and Johnson only half commits. James connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Johnson momentarily.
James throws a right and a left that Johnson avoids nicely. James looks to land a combination but Johnson avoids it well. Johnson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Johnson blocks a jab. James throws a body punch but Johnson moves out of range.

and James counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Johnson swings wildly with an uppercut but James uses good head movement to avoid it. Johnson with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

James clinches up against the cage. Johnson tries to pull guard but James holds him up against the cage and eventually Johnson drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for LeBron Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. A bit of stalling here from Johnson.
Johnson scores with a nice hook to the head. Johnson working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Johnson struggles to land a body shot inside as James controls his hands.

Johnson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in James's guard. James looking to hit a scissor sweep but Johnson is one step ahead there. James working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Johnson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Johnson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson throws a big right hand that misses. James wants to sweep here but Johnson controlling him for the moment. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but James is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson is working James over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Johnson trying to control but James is working from the bottom. James trying to control the position.
Johnson stands up and waves to James to follow him. Johnson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and James holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johnson tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Kevin James dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Johnson throws a combination. James tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Johnson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. James looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. James on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Johnson tries to advance to mount but James denies him. James is not content to let Johnson control the position. James manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. James tries to get to full guard but Johnson has control of the leg. Johnson wants to advance to full mount but James doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. James keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully. James working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Johnson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Johnson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. James knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. You can see the frustration on James's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Johnson passes to full mount! That's big trouble for James! Johnson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. James tries to hold on but Johnson postures up. The referee warns James that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

James is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. James avoids a series of strikes thrown by Johnson.

LeBron Johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. James bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Johnson's guard. Johnson keeping moving, preventing James from controlling successfully. Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. James wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving. Johnson keeping full guard, as James tries to pass.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Johnson lands a two punch combo.
James throws a lazy right hand but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. James throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. James lands a slapping body shot.
James tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Johnson has his takedown stuffed and James counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Johnson gets a clinch. James looking to stall.

James working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. James thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Johnson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but James does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. James moves into full guard.
James is looking to sinch up a triangle. Johnson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to James's body to avoid the submission. James has instead reached around Johnson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! James arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
