Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexander Crowe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Manny Quioxte!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quioxte throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Crowe's head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Crowe. Quioxte does a little dance to reset his feet.
Crowe misses with a double jab.
Quioxte throws a head kick but Crowe moves out of range.
Crowe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quioxte moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sloppy strikes from Crowe. Those never looked like landing.
A cross from Quioxte lands.
Quioxte fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Manny Quioxte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crowe lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Quioxte lands with a slapping head kick.
Quioxte takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Crowe throws a right hand that Quioxte ducks under and follows up with a left that Quioxte also avoids with ease.
Quioxte pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Crowe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Quioxte sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Quioxte lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Crowe avoids the head kick by Quioxte.
Crowe throws out a loose jab but Quioxte uses good head movement to avoid it.
Quioxte throws a head kick that half lands.
Quioxte throws a right and a left that Crowe avoids nicely.
Crowe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Quioxte was well out of range. Poor timing from Crowe.
Quioxte scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Quioxte throws a front kick that sends Crowe stumbling back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Quioxte feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Crowes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Quioxte throws a left and a right that both miss
and Crowe counters with a left and a right that stings Quioxte.
Quioxte thumps Crowe with a low kick.
Quioxte throws a head kick but Crowe moves out of range.
Quioxte lands with a kick to the temple. Crowe shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Crowe misses with a double jab
and Quioxte counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Crowe is rocked!
Quioxte drops Crowe with a big left hand! Crowe is injured, injured bad! Quioxte jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
