Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuire comes to the cage accompanied by I am a true Irishman. Bob is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dragonforce- heroes of our time. William Bob has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ralph McGuire! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, William Bob! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Bob lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bob. Bob fails to land with a series of punches.
McGuire misses with a takedown attempt - Bob sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. McGuire slips a straight right by Bob. Bob on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by McGuire. McGuire obviously looking to wear him down.
McGuire misses with a looping left. McGuire fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bob on the side of the head. Bob gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Bob throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. McGuire gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. McGuire lands with a thumping leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McGuire lands a jab-cross combination. Bob shoots in for a takedown but McGuire shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bob tries to bum rush McGuire with a series of wild strikes but McGuire uses good footwork to avoid the assault. McGuire throws a jab but it's blocked by Bob. McGuire scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bob doesn't seem bothered though. Bob takes a shot to the body in his stride.

That's one minute gone in the round. McGuire fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Bob walks into a stiff left hand from McGuire. Bob's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McGuire connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bob scrambles back to his feet. McGuire lands with an uppercut that bounces Bob off the cage and back into rage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McGuire looking for a takedown here - he's got it. McGuire slips nicely into half guard. Ground and pound from McGuire. McGuire is trying to work for a kimura but Bob is defending well.
McGuire sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bob defending well though. McGuire takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. McGuire lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McGuire seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. McGuire looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bob with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. McGuire trying to control from half guard but Bob is working away. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. McGuire lands a nice short elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McGuire has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Bob is working to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. McGuire has control of Bob's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bob regains control of the situation pretty easily.
McGuire is in the full mount, landing strikes. McGuire lands with some strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! A nice elbow there by McGuire. McGuire working away from the top, dropping strikes. McGuire lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. McGuire cracks Bob with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Bob is rocked! McGuire looking to control and managing it successfully. A nice elbow there by McGuire. Bob is still in real trouble! Can McGuire finish him?
That's four minutes gone in the round. McGuire connects with a bit shot that sees Bob covering up! More strikes from McGuire and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! McGuire is our winner by TKO!
