Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heinz Spack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spack has chosen Kraftwerk's ' It's More Fun To Compute as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Steve Fox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Heinz Spack! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spack gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fox to score an easy takedown into full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fox is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Fox wants to control from the top but Spack keeps moving. Spack really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fox. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fox wanted to stand there but Spack had control of the position. Spack is trying to control the position but Fox postures up. Spack wants to sweep here but Fox controlling him for the moment. Spack is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Fox throws a big right hand that misses. Fox preventing the sweep. Fox looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Spack looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fox is one step ahead there. Fox might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Spack pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Spack scores with a body shot.
Fox thows a left - swing and a miss! Sloppy strikes from Fox. Those never looked like landing. Heinz Spack is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Spack lands a nice looking body shot.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Spack manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Spack throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Spack scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fox in his tracks. Spack throws a looping overhand right but Fox ducks down to avoid it. Nice cross by Spack. A looping hook to the body misses from Spack. Fox does a little dance to reset his feet. Fox looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Fox. That's going to take a lot out of him. Spack swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Fox is breathing heavily. Fox shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Spack as he jumps to the side. Spack bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Spack lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Spack lands a head shot. Spack's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fox under the eye. Spack displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fox throws out the jab. Spack throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fox stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Fox closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Fox fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Spack is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Spack fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fox looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spack connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fox's hands. Spack cracks Fox with a good jab. Fox slips under a jab. A jab from Spack finds it's way through Fox's defenses. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Spack misses with a hook. Fox takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Spack's corner calls for a 1-2. Spack obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Spack misses with a looping left. Spack cracks Fox with an open hand slap. Spack works Fox's body with a nice hook. Spack throws out a powerful jab. Decent striking displayed by Spack there. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jab from Spack. Nice uppercut there from Spack. Spack paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Fox slips a jab from Spack. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Heinz Spack dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Spack's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fox under the eye. Spack throws a good cross that connects.

Spack has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Fox ducks right into an uppercut from Spack. Spack connects with a crisp jab. Spack ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Fox moves out of range of the strikes. Heinz Spack seems to be getting the better of the standup. Spack misses with a straight right. Spack throws out a loose jab but Fox uses good head movement to avoid it. Fox needs to keep his hands up - Spack had a free shot at his head there. A big left from Spack misses. Spack throws the left hand but Fox avoids the punch easily. Spack lands a lovely overhand right. Spack throws a jab when Fox was well out of range. Fox shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Spack but Spack pushes him off and we're back to square one. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nice takedown defense from Spack. No joy for Fox on that attempt.

Fox lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Spack circles away quickly and effectively. Fox takes a shot right to the bread basket. Spack throws out a loose jab but Fox uses good head movement to avoid it. Spack lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Spack lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Spack misses with an uppercut. Fox saw that one coming. Fox uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Spack.
Spack feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Foxs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Spack just misses with a punch to the body.
Fox looks to land a left hand but Spack moved out of range nicely. Spack steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fox. Fox shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Spack is trying to defend but Fox finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Spack can do anything to dispel that myth. Fox prevents Spack from improving his position.

Spack is doing well to control the position and prevent Fox from advancing to side control. Spack is defending against the submission attempts here by Fox.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fox is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Spack defends it well. Fox is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Fox seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Spack does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Spack wants to sweep here but Fox controlling him for the moment. Fox wants to control from the top but Spack keeps moving. Spack seems keen to control Fox's posture. Spack's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Spack with a body punch. A glancing blow. Fox keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fox shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fox wants to lay and pray for a moment but Spack keeps working. Fox prevents Spack from improving his position. Fox is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Spack is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Spack is refusing to be controlled, as Fox sits in half guard. Steve Fox has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Spack wants to get back to full guard. Fox throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Spack is trying to get back to full guard. Spack preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Fox works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fox throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Spack is wriggling around trying to escape.

Fox wants to finish this one by submission but Spack is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Fox. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fox cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
