Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Krysz Kawolski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Han Dardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Krysz Kawolski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Han Dardy! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dardy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kawolski scores a takedown into full mount! Dardy tries to lock up and control but Kawolski gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Kawolski throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Poor strikes thrown by Kawolski there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Kawolski has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dardy's face.
Dardy is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Kawolski has control of Dardy's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dardy regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Kawolski looking to control but Dardy is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kawolski is landing with some decent strikes but Dardy is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Kawolski misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Dardy tries to lock up and control but Kawolski gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Dardy is looking to improve his position but Kawolski isn't that keen on the idea. Kawolski goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Dardy turns into him and now he's in Kawolski's guard.

Dardy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Kawolski controls Dardy momentarily but Dardy frees himself. Kawolski wants to sweep here but Dardy controlling him for the moment. Kawolski manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kawolski looking to control and managing it successfully. Kawolski throws some wild stikes that Dardy manages to avoid easily.
Kawolski fails to move to back control. Kawolski throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Kawolski tries to control but Dardy wriggling away. Kawolski thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kawolski looking for a guillotine from mount but Dardy is having none of it. Kawolski jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dardy manages to avoid the submission attempt. Kawolski sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Dardy is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Kawolski is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dardy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Kawolski landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Krysz Kawolski dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dardy misses with an uppercut. Kawolski saw that one coming. Dardy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Dardy throws a series of punches but Kawolski avoids them all with ease. Dardy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dardy stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Dardy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Dardy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Kawolski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

A shot to the liver by Kawolski. Beautiful body shot. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kawolski. Kawolski goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Han Dardy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dardy is breathing heavily.

Dardy seems to have recovered his senses. Kawolski steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dardy. Kawolski slips a jab from Dardy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kawolski throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
This has been an exciting period of action! Kawolski shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dardy is trying to defend but Kawolski finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kawolski wants to take a breather but Dardy is having none of it. Dardy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kawolski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dardy can do anything to dispel that myth. Kawolski is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dardy is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Kawolski looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Kawolski seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Dardy is looking for a sweep. Kawolski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dardy makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Dardy blocks a head kick by Kawolski.
Kawolski is looking to wear down Dardy with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. A nice combination there by Dardy.
Dardy's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Dardy duly obliges. Han Dardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kawolski closes the distance and clinches up with Dardy, looking for a takedown. Kawolski pushes Dardy against the cage but Dardy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krysz Kawolski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kawolski throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Dardy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kawolski circles away quickly and effectively. Kawolski lands the left hand. Kawolski scores with the left hand. Dardy knows he should have avoided that one. Kawolski drives through with a takedown into guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. He has the arm isolated but Dardy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Dardy is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Dardy sneaks back into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dardy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kawolski is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dardy defends it well. Kawolski thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Nice strikes from Kawolski there. Kawolski is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dardy sees it coming and defends easily. Kawolski is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Kawolski trying to control but he's not successful this time. Han Dardy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Dardy is squirming around, avoiding Kawolski's attempts to control the action. Kawolski lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Krysz Kawolski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Dardy is looking to get to half guard. Kawolski working away from the top, dropping strikes. And that's the end of the fight! Krysz Kawolski showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kawolski has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
