Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Takanori Gomi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Taylor Brooks !
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks throws a jab when Gomi was well out of range.
Brooks throws a hook to the side of Gomi's head but Gomi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gomi throws a looping overhand right but Brooks ducks down to avoid it.
Gomi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Brooks falls off balance throwing a combination
and Brooks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Brooks scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gomi throws a right hand that Brooks ducks under and follows up with a left that Brooks also avoids with ease.
Brooks lands a nice shot that snaps Gomi's head back.
Gomi lands an overhand right.
Gomi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brooks manages to avoid it.
Brooks thows a body shot but no joy.
Gomi lands a lovely overhand right.
Gomi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brooks .
Brooks swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gomi counters with a right hand to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A combination from Gomi does no damage.
Brooks misses with an uppercut
and Gomi counters with a left and a right that stings Brooks .
Gomi fails to land with a series of punches.
A shot to the body from Brooks misses
enabling Gomi to counter with a crisp jab.
Gomi scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Brooks is rocked!
Oooh a lovely combination from Gomi sends Brooks down but not out. Gomi dives into side control looking to finish.
Brooks is still in real trouble! Can Gomi finish him?
Brooks is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Gomi has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Brooks looks gassed!
Gomi is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Brooks is trying to escape and Gomi transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Brooks is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gomi! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Takanori Gomi!
