Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Diaz misses with a few strikes there.
Henry fails to land with a series of punches.
Diaz lands with an overhand left.
Henry lands a jab to the nose.
Henry slips a jab and a cross from Diaz.
Henry swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sloppy strikes from Henry. Those never looked like landing.
Henry avoids the head kick by Diaz.
Diaz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Henry bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Diaz's guard.

Henry decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Diaz, up you get!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Henry throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Diaz sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Henry wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Diaz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Henry manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Diaz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Henry manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Diaz has Henry in his guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Henry accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Diaz wants to sweep but no luck.
Henry keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Diaz's head.

Henry throws and elbow that misses. Diaz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Henry's guard. Nice move by Diaz!

Henry is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Henry wants to stand up but Diaz is controlling him.
Henry looking to hit a scissor sweep but Diaz is one step ahead there.
Diaz has gone for a leg lock! Henry slips out almost immediately though and dives into Diaz's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Nick Diaz will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Diaz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Henry.
Henry lands a jab to the nose.
Diaz looks to land a right hand but Henry moved out of range.

Diaz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Henry.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Diaz cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
