PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jussi Ahma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ahma might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Power - Kanye West. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahma lands a nice shot to the body.
Chong takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ahma avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ahma fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chong manages to avoid it.
Ahma has a takedown stuffed.
A cross from Ahma lands.
Chong misses with a looping left.
Chong throws a shot from downtown. Ahma moves away and avoids it.

Chong gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ahma to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Chong shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ahma's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ahma accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ahma wants to control from the top but Chong keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tommy Chong.

Ahma is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ahma wants to finish this one by submission but Chong is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ahma.
