Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Jorgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hugh Jorgan struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hugh Jorgan! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jorgan scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Cooper avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jorgan. Jorgan scores with punches from side control. Cooper tries to improve position but can't. Cooper manages to get back to half guard. Cooper is controlling Jorgan's trapped leg to prevent Jorgan from advancing to side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cooper wants to improve his position but Jorgan is controlling well.
Jorgan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jorgan stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Cooper fails with a takedown attempt. Cooper connects with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooper fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jorgan avoids it really well and circles away. Jorgan throws a nice outside leg kick. Jorgan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jorgan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cooper quickly recovers to half guard. Cooper is looking for a sweep. Jorgan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jorgan missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Cooper is breathing heavily. Jorgan working over Cooper with some ground and pound. Cooper looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jorgan stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jorgan stands up and waves to Cooper to follow him. Jorgan lands a jab-cross combination. Jorgan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jorgan. Hugh Jorgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jorgan closes the distance and clinches. Jorgan taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Cooper throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jorgan moves into range and clinches up with Cooper. Jorgan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cooper tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jorgan swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Cooper. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jorgan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Jorgan scoring with punches from side control. Jorgan has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Jorgan lands a two punch combo.
Jorgan clinches up with Cooper and pushes him back against the cage. Jorgan has picked Cooper up - he's going for a ride! Jorgan dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Well, if Jorgan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Jorgan works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jorgan lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Jorgan landing strikes from the mount and Cooper is in trouble! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jorgan controlling his opponent. Jorgan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jorgan prevents Cooper from getting the reversal. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cooper in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Jorgan is in the full mount, landing strikes. A jab from Jorgan does it's job there. Cooper shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jorgan counters with a nice double leg into guard. Jorgan lands a couple of elbows. Jorgan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cooper works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jorgan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Jorgan stands and steps away. Cooper gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. A combination from Jorgan does no damage. Jorgan throws a right and a left that Cooper avoids nicely. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cooper gets tackled into the cage by Jorgan. Jorgan maintains the clinch.

Cooper tries to clinch and Jorgan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jorgan. Jorgan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cooper tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Jorgan counters with a left and a right that stings Cooper. Jorgan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jorgan showed some decent athleticism there. Cooper trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Jorgan manages to pass to mount!
Jorgan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Jorgan has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cooper's face.

Jorgan pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jorgan lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Cooper hang on? Jorgan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Cooper is in a horrible position here. Jorgan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Hugh Jorgan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
A good leg kick by Jorgan. Cooper fails with the takedown and Jorgan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cooper! Jorgan prevents Cooper from getting the reversal. Jorgan raining down shots from the mount! Jorgan working for a submission but Cooper is keeping him at bay. Jorgan is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Jorgan extends the arm and Cooper is forced to tap!
