I think Mir might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to FRANKIE by 80Kidz; So Coool!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castroy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mir paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Castroy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Castroy lands a hook that snaps the head of Mir backwards.

Mir has clasped his hands together around Castroy's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Mir thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Mir is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Castroy has escaped the position, nice work there.

Mir looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Mir throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Castroy works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Mir is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Mir thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Mir is working for a guillotine from mount but Castroy frees his head quite easily.
Mir is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Castroy is in real trouble.

Mir is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
