Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Morgan Earp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Morgan Earp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Slick Diaz! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Earp misses the shot to the body. Earp stuffs the takedown attempt from Diaz. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet. Earp is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Diaz looks for a takedown but Earp sprawls well. Earp shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Earp throws a series of punches but Diaz moves out of range. Earp shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Diaz's guard. Diaz is looking for a triangle but Earp pushes his legs off easily.

Earp has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Earp wants to stand but Diaz is controlling his posture from full guard. Earp knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diaz on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Earp preventing the sweep. Diaz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Earp can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Diaz wants to stand but Earp is controlling the position. Earp wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving. Earp content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Diaz keeping moving, preventing Earp from controlling successfully. Diaz is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Earp is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Diaz is looking for a triangle but Earp pushes his legs off easily.
Diaz looks gassed! Diaz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Earp wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving. Diaz working for a triangle but Earp defends it easily.
Earp has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Diaz is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Earp avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Earp doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Earp manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Diaz throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Diaz controls Earp momentarily but Earp frees himself. Diaz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Diaz controls Earp momentarily but Earp frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz is looking for a triangle here but Earp uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Diaz tries to get back to half guard but can't. Earp wants to control but Diaz is keeping him busy. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Earp stands up. Earp wants to clinch up but Diaz keeps it at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Slick Diaz dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Diaz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Earp is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Diaz avoids the head kick by Earp.
Diaz tries to clinch but Earp moves out of range. Earp shoots in and bounces Diaz off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Earp doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Diaz is tightening it up a little... Earp has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Earp reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Earp taps out! nice BJJ there by Diaz!
