Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandi Montague (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandi Montague is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vitor Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brandi Montague!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva thows a body shot but no joy.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Montague moves away.
Montague changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Montague manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Silva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Montague but Montague pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Silva has Montague pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Silva pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Montague tumbling to the mat - Silva dives into Montague's guard.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Montague swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Montague is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
