Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Rae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirty Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dog comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sharp Dressed Man kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Rae!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dirty Dog!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rae tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dog is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A big left from Dog misses.
Some wild striking there from Rae.
A jab from Dog misses.
Rae throws the left hand but Dog avoids the punch easily.
Dog throws a lazy right hand but Rae sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A jab from Dog does it's job there.
Dog slips under a jab from Rae.
Dog works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Rae throws a leg kick that misses.
Dog scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Dog scores with a nice right hand.
Rae avoids a kick to the body.
Dog lands with a slapping head kick.
Dog looks to throw the jab but Rae is out of range.
Dog takes a swing at Rae's ribcage but misses.
Dog fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rae is out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A low kick from Dog misses
and Rae counters with a leg kick.
Rae tries to clinch but Dog moves out of range.
Rae throws a hook to the side of Dog's head but Dog sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dog with a nice cross.
Rae swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A shot to the liver by Dog. Beautiful body shot.
Rae tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dog paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dog tries a low kick but Rae avoids it.
Rae misses with a jab to the body
and Dog counters with a lovely straight right hand!
James Rae seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dog throws a leg kick which misses Rae's front leg but catches the back leg as Rae tries to avoid it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rae.
Dog throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Rae pushes Dog up against the cage in a clinch.
Dog lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rae backwards.
Dog lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Dog throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Rae tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dog avoids it.
Rae looks to throw an elbow but misses.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Rae.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dog keeps control of Rae as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
With the fighters up against the cage, Rae throws an elbow but misses.
Rae throws an elbow but it misses.
Rae tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dog just stands there and leans against the cage.
Rae jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dog walks away with a smile on his face. Rae gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rae lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Dog - that will leave a mark!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dog lands a jab.
Rae misses with a leg kick
and Dog counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


Rae is rocked!
Rae pivots, looking for a leg kick but Dog is out of range and Rae settles back down.
Dog sizes up Rae with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Oh Rae is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dog is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Dog bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dog delivers a nice body kick.
Rae is breathing heavily.
Rae tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dog was well out of range. Poor timing from Rae.
Rae seems to have got his legs back now.
Rae is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Dog's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Dog connects with a solid leg kick.
Dog lands with a good body shot.
Dog lands a big head kick that sends Rae to the canvas! Dog follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dirty Dog!
Dirty Dog is the new middleweight champion!
