Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Patty Green! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green has a takedown stuffed. Green closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Saplin to the mat! Saplin manages to get full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Green postures up.
Green lands a couple of elbows. Green throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Saplin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Green trying to control but Saplin is working from the bottom. Saplin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Saplin is breathing heavily. Green misses with a head shot. Green has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Saplin's face.

Patty Green dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Green shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Green with good strikes from the mount here! The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Patty Green wasn't active enough on the ground. Saplin doesn't succeed with the takedown and Green counters with a nice double leg into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Patty Green showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Green distracts Saplin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Green must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Saplin has hold of Green's hands but Green slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Green thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Saplin's head. Green not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Green slips a nice elbow through Saplin's hands, connecting with Saplin's forehead. Green is nestled in close to Saplin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Green not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Green works his foot free and advances to mount. Saplin is in a horrible position here. Green smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Patty Green has got the better of the ground game so far.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Green landing shots from mount. Green in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Saplin is rocked! Green pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Oh Saplin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Green unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Saplin wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Green celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
