Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Ottoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Alexandre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Alexandre or perhaps it was just good defense by Ottoni which made him look bad.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ottoni enables Alexandre to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ottoni manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Ottoni is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Alexandre to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Alexandre shrugs it off.

Ottoni is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Alexandre can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Alexandre turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Ottoni off and cradles Alexandre's limp body as Ottoni celebrates with his corner.
