Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dima Gurevich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, jeff duynham! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gurevich misses with a two punch combination.
Gurevich tried to score with a low kick but duynham checks it. Gurevich fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt duynham. Gurevich misses with a wild combination.
Gurevich walks into a left hand. duynham throws a looping overhand right but Gurevich ducks down to avoid it. Dima Gurevich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. duynham defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gurevich. Gurevich lands a straight punch to the body, keeping duynham at a distance.
duynham scores with a jab. duynham stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and duynham wants it to stay on the feet. Gurevich looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Gurevich throws a right hand that duynham ducks under and follows up with a left that duynham also avoids with ease. Gurevich throws a right and a left that both miss. duynham avoids a punch combination nicely.

It looks like Dima Gurevich has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gurevich on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gurevich is breathing heavily. duynham jabbing away but nothing is landing. Gurevich uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from duynham. Gurevich pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Gurevich fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. duynham jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gurevich is rocked! duynham is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Gurevich flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gurevich is out cold! duynham holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
