Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Belfour (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sayuri Sejuro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mario Belfour! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sayuri Sejuro! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belfour connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Belfour stuffs the takedown. Belfour displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Sejuro tries to score a power double leg takedown but Belfour sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sejuro somewhat. Nice sprawl there from Belfour as Sejuro shoots in. Mario Belfour has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sayuri Sejuro. Belfour keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Sejuro shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Belfour pinned against the cage. Belfour gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nice takedown defense from Belfour. No joy for Sejuro on that attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sejuro closes the distance and clinches up with Belfour, looking for a takedown. Sejuro pushes Belfour against the cage but Belfour circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sejuro is defended easily by Belfour. Sejuro shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Belfour sprawls well. Belfour wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sejuro gets slowly back to his feet. Sejuro looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Belfour ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Sejuro shoots in for a takedown but Belfour shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sejuro feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Sejuro looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sejuro with a flurry of punches that miss. Sejuro drops back looking for a leg! Belfour is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Belfour manages to kick Sejuro off! Sejuro jumps back into Belfour's guard. Belfour keeping full guard, as Sejuro tries to pass. Belfour controlling the position. Sejuro trying to control the position from guard on top but Belfour is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sejuro drops back looking for a leg! Belfour is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Belfour manages to kick Sejuro off! Sejuro jumps back into Belfour's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belfour is adopting a defensive guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mario Belfour wasn't doing enough on the ground. The fighters circle momentarily. Belfour darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Sejuro takes a kick to the side of the head. Sejuro misses with a takedown attempt - Belfour sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sejuro on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Nice shot by Belfour. Sejuro on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Belfour. Belfour obviously looking to wear him down.
Sejuro fails with a takedown attempt. Belfour feints and then cracks Sejuro's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sejuro down. Belfour is looking to slow Sejuro down with leg kicks. Belfour displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Sejuro looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mario Belfour dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sejuro fails in his attempt to clinch. Sejuro shoots in for a takedown but Belfour shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A jab from Sejuro misses. Nice uppercut there from Belfour. Sejuro closes this distance looking for a takedown but Belfour circles away. Nice takedown defense from Belfour. No joy for Sejuro on that attempt. Mario Belfour has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sayuri Sejuro. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from Belfour finds it's way through Sejuro's defenses. Sejuro shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Belfour sprawls well. Belfour wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sejuro gets slowly back to his feet. Belfour scores with a leg kick.
Sejuro is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belfour cracks Sejuro with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Sejuro tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Belfour swivels and escapes. Belfour fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Belfour slaps away a takedown attempt from Sejuro, before circling back to the center of the mat. Belfour lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Belfour throws a leg kick which misses Sejuro's front leg but catches the back leg as Sejuro tries to avoid it. Sejuro throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Belfour sees it coming and avoids it easily. Belfour works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sejuro chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Belfour can pounce on him.
Belfour catches Sejuro with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! A lazy left from Belfour finds it's target. Belfour stalks Sejuro and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sejuro's face. Sejuro staggers backwards, shaken. Belfour connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Belfour lands a head kick!
A chopping leg kick lands by Belfour. Belfour connects with a jab. Belfour lands with a right hand. Sejuro fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belfour connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. A solid leg kick lands there for Belfour.
Belfour moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Sejuro is rocked! Look low, kick high! Belfour uses the oldest trick in the book to send Sejuro tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Belfour is absolutely delighted - when Sejuro wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
