Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Severino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Garner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Severino is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severino gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Severino is breathing heavily.
Severino wants to sweep but no luck.
Garner is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Garner advances position into side control!
Garner controls the position.
Severino taking a bit of punishment here - Garner scoring with strikes.

I looks like Garner might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Garner in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee asks Garner politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Garner prefers to stall for the moment though.
Garner is working Severino over with some ground and pound from side control.
Garner lands a big left to the face of Severino, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Garner and another - Severino is out! Garner stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Derek Garner!
