Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Coconut Bagaganja! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Columbus! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Columbus will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bagaganja misses the shot to the body. Bagaganja on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Bagaganja bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Columbus uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bagaganja. A slow jab from Columbus misses its intended target. Bagaganja lands with a kick to the temple. Columbus shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Columbus throws a hook but Bagaganja blocks it. Bagaganja tries to clinch there but Columbus circles away.
Bagaganja displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Columbus throws out the jab. Bagaganja fails with the takedown. Bagaganja drives through and clinches with Columbus against the cage.
Columbus swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Bagaganja pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bagaganja gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bagaganja tries to close the distance and clinch up but Columbus swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bagaganja lands a high kick!
Bagaganja bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Columbus dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Columbus throws a right and a left that both miss. Columbus digs a good hook to Bagaganja's body.
Bagaganja is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice defenses there by Bagaganja. Coconut Bagaganja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Columbus loads up on a big right hand but Bagaganja slips the punch. Columbus scores with the left hand. Bagaganja knows he should have avoided that one. Columbus connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Bagaganja scores with a takedown into Columbus's guard. Columbus lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bagaganja!

Columbus takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Columbus with good strikes from the mount here! Bagaganja is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Columbus avoids the attempt from Bagaganja to control. Columbus trying to control but he's not successful this time. Columbus has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bagaganja's face.
Columbus lands a heavy elbow. Columbus wants to control the pace but Bagaganja is squirming around nicely. Columbus scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Columbus lands a big shot there that rocks Bagaganja but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bagaganja tries to get out of the position. Columbus raining down hammerfists from mount. Columbus pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Columbus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Columbus scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Bagaganja?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Columbus can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bagaganja is looking to escape. Columbus avoids the attempt from Bagaganja to control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bagaganja holds of for dear life. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Columbus is trying to drag Bagaganja to the mat but Bagaganja just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Bagaganja lands a hook that snaps the head of Columbus backwards.

Columbus is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Bagaganja lands a shoulder strike. Bagaganja works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Bagaganja is pushing Columbus up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Bagaganja makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Bagaganja is working Columbus over against the cage. Bagaganja prevents a takedown attempt there.

Bagaganja instigates a clinch. Bagaganja will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Columbus up against the cage. Columbus is trying to drag Bagaganja to the mat but Bagaganja just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Bagaganja thuds his shin into the meat of Columbus's side. Columbus might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Bagaganja shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Columbus napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bagaganja will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bagaganja scoring with punches from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Columbus parries the strikes from Bagaganja easily there. Bagaganja is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Columbus to escape.
Columbus takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Columbus taking punishment in the form of punches.
Bagaganja creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Columbus sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Bagaganja in side control, throwing shots but Columbus defends. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Columbus parries the strikes from Bagaganja easily there. Bagaganja is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Columbus to escape.
Bagaganja wants to stand but Columbus has his arm trapped. Columbus sneaks back into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Coconut Bagaganja dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Columbus closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bagaganja did well to prevent Columbus getting side control. Bagaganja wants to get back to full guard. Columbus is keen to just control but Bagaganja is a slippery customer. Bagaganja trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

Bagaganja is rocked! Bagaganja wants to hold on but Columbus pushes him away. Oh Bagaganja is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Columbus looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Columbus loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Bagaganja scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Columbus land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Columbus stands and salutes the crowd.
