Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Spade Cart!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cart walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Tim misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cart keeps the fight on the outside.
Cart drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Cart goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tim has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cart but great work by Tim.
Cart looking for a sweep but Tim has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Tim tries to control but Cart wriggling away.
Tim controlling the position easily from mount.
Cart is in a horrible position here. Tim smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Tim looking to control but Cart is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The referee warns Cart that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Tim lands a big shot there that rocks Cart but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Tim controlling his opponent.
Tim has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cart keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Cart gets back to half guard.
Tim is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Tim scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Cart missing with punches from the bottom.
Tim will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Tim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cart keeps working.

Cart tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Cart is staying active underneath Tim, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Tim wants to pass the guard but Cart is defending well.
Cart looking for submissions off his back.
Tim drops an elbow to the side of Cart's head.
Cart on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Cart is trying to stand.
Cart trying to hold on to Tim's head to control him but Tim postures up.
Cart looks gassed!
Tim lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Cart looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Tim scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Tim performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Tim has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Tennis Tim wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Cart swats away the attempt to clinch by Tim.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tim shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Cart wants to hold on but Tim pushes him away.
Tim has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Cart is forced to tap!
