Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Strike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ground Game (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ground Game has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with John Strike's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Strike! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ground Game! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strike lands with a kick to the temple. Game shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Strike gets a takedown into half guard. Strike trying to control from Game's half guard. Game has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Strike trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Game manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Game is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Strike keeping full guard, as Game tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strike is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Game is controlling him. Game trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Strike on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Strike tries to get out of the position. Strike wants to stand but Game is controlling the position. Game not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Strike wants to get back to his feet but Game is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Strike knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Game on the ground. Game is stalling in the full guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Game with a lazy takedown attempt and Strike counters with a three punch combo that has Game backing up. Game nods at Strike to acknowledge the strikes. Game looks for a takedown but Strike sprawls well. Game gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Strike counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. John Strike has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ground Game. Game shoots in for a takedown but Strike shows good takedown defense. Game closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Strike did well to prevent Game getting side control. Game should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Game sitting and controlling from the half guard. Game seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Strike is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
