Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eugene Bradley Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fedor Entrance Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Dean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 11 - 1, fighting out of London, Eugene Bradley Burns! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burns stuffs the takedown attempt from Dean. Dean gets slowly back to his feet. Burns shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dean napping and manages to drive through into side control! Burns connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Dean some visible discomfort.
Burns trying to control the action but Dean is working from the bottom. Burns tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Dean tries to bench press Burns off him but Burns keeps the position. Burns postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dean tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Burns wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Burns wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dean keeps working. Dean is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dean tries to get to full guard but Burns has control of the leg. Burns is looking to take a break and control but Dean is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dean is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Burns's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Burns's back! Burns is really stuck here.
Dean doesn't have the hooks in and Burns manages to turn into his guard.
Burns stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dean swivels though and keeps the full guard. Burns throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Burns advances position into side control! Dean wants to control but Burns postures up. Dean tries to buck Burns off but Burns is having none of it. Dean manages to get back to half guard. Dean is looking for a sweep. Burns is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dean is refusing to be controlled, as Burns sits in half guard. Burns is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Burns throwing shots but Dean is blocking nicely. Burns is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dean is just riding it out for now. Burns eventually gives up the hold. Burns thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burns drops an elbow to the side of Dean's head. Dean trying to control but Burns postures up.
Burns wants to control but Dean is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Burns seems to be working for a kimura but Dean defends the submission attempt. Dean is not content to let Burns control the position. Dean is pressing down on Burns's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Burns thows a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Burns trying to control the position from guard on top but Dean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dean manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Dean looking to control but Burns is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Dean is looking to work his way around to Burns's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Burns slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Burns moves into full guard.

Dean misses with a takedown attempt and Burns holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Dean tries to score a body lock takedown but Burns shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Dean fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Burns wants to take a breather but Dean is having none of it.

Dean looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Burns wants to pass the guard but Dean is keeping the position. Burns is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Burns stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dean swivels though and keeps the full guard. Burns advances to half guard. Dean is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Burns wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dean keeps working. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Eugene Bradley Burns showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Burns working some strikes from top position. Dean bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Burns's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Burns manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Burns wants to control the pace but Dean is squirming around nicely. Eugene Bradley Burns has got the better of the ground game so far. Burns fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Dean is trying desperately to improve position. Dean tries to hold on but Burns pushes him away. Burns in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burns landing strikes from the mount and Dean is in trouble! Burns trying to control but he's not successful this time. Burns punishing his opponent with strikes. Burns putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Burns lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Burns controlling his opponent. Dean can't escape the position.
Dean is working hard here to advance position. Burns goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dean is on top in guard.
Eddie Dean has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Burns looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dean is one step ahead there.

And that's the end of the fight! Eugene Bradley Burns comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Burns has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
