Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abraham Lincoln (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerardus Van Raamsdonk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lincoln comes into the arena with Hail To The Chief blaring out of the sound system. Van Raamsdonk has chosen Syntaks - Blue Sunshine as his entrance music. Abraham Lincoln has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abraham Lincoln! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gerardus Van Raamsdonk! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Raamsdonk is looking to clinch. Lincoln lands a body shot.
Lincoln comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Van Raamsdonk takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Van Raamsdonk attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Van Raamsdonk takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Lincoln shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Van Raamsdonk manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Van Raamsdonk is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lincoln stays in close to Van Raamsdonk's body and controls the position. Van Raamsdonk trying to keep a closed guard but Lincoln is proving a slippery customer.
Lincoln trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lincoln is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Van Raamsdonk takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Van Raamsdonk fails with the takedown and Lincoln counters with a nice uppercut. Van Raamsdonk looks gassed! Van Raamsdonk misses with a takedown and Lincoln counters with a single leg into guard. Van Raamsdonk didn't expect that. Lincoln thows a big elbow that misses. Lincoln controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Lincoln stands and throws Van Raamsdonk's legs to the side, diving into side control. Lincoln controlling the position from side mount. Lincoln cracks Van Raamsdonk with a big elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lincoln cracks Van Raamsdonk with a big right hand but Van Raamsdonk just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Lincoln looks up at the clock and then as Van Raamsdonk takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lincoln smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Van Raamsdonk seems a little lost for a moment, as Lincoln dominates the positioning. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Abraham Lincoln has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Lincoln. Lincoln controls the position. Lincoln advances to full mount. Van Raamsdonk tries to lock up and control but Lincoln gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lincoln working away from the top, dropping strikes. Lincoln controlling the position easily from mount. A nice elbow there by Lincoln. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lincoln controlling his opponent. Lincoln with the ground and pound from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Abraham Lincoln dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Van Raamsdonk throws a front kick that sends Lincoln stumbling back into the cage. Lincoln scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Lincoln works Van Raamsdonk's body with a nice hook. Van Raamsdonk gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lincoln counters with a stiff right hand. Van Raamsdonk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Van Raamsdonk shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Lincoln counter with a right hand. Lincoln is looking to wear down Van Raamsdonk with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Van Raamsdonk with a poor takedown and Lincoln counters with a takedown into side control. Abraham Lincoln has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gerardus Van Raamsdonk. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Van Raamsdonk is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lincoln advances nicely into full mount. Lincoln tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Lincoln with a couple of short strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lincoln sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Lincoln seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Van Raamsdonk for as long as he can get away with. Lincoln landing shots from mount. Lincoln tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lincoln cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lincoln controlling his opponent. Lincoln breaks from Van Raamsdonk's wrist control and lands an elbow. Lincoln looking to control and managing it successfully. Lincoln lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Van Raamsdonk tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lincoln content just to control the position here. Abraham Lincoln overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lincoln lands a heavy elbow. Lincoln has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lincoln controlling the pace for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Van Raamsdonk is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Lincoln content just to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Abraham Lincoln dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Lincoln digs a good hook to Van Raamsdonk's body.

Lincoln drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Lincoln is stalling in the full guard. Lincoln stands and throws Van Raamsdonk's legs to the side, diving into side control. Van Raamsdonk takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Lincoln happy to just control the position for now. Lincoln lands a few punches from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lincoln is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Van Raamsdonk will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Van Raamsdonk is looking for a sweep. Van Raamsdonk being controlled for a moment. Lincoln has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Lincoln passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Van Raamsdonk!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lincoln controlling the pace for now. Van Raamsdonk tries to get back to half guard but can't. BOOM! Lincoln connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lincoln putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Lincoln controlling from the full mount. Lincoln is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Van Raamsdonk can do to turn this around? Lincoln punishing his opponent with strikes.

BOOM! Lincoln connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Lincoln with a couple of short strikes. Lincoln with good strikes from the mount here! Lincoln landing strikes from the mount. Lincoln takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Lincoln lands a heavy elbow.
And that's the end of the fight! Abraham Lincoln showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lincoln has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
