Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Arcot Ramathorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dani Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dani Cruz will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz fails with the takedown.
Cruz wants to clinch up but Ramathorn keeps it at a distance.
Ramathorn throws a right hand that Cruz ducks under and follows up with a left that Cruz also avoids with ease.
Ramathorn thows a body shot but no joy.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cruz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cruz closes the distance and clinches up with Ramathorn, looking for a takedown. Cruz pushes Ramathorn against the cage but Ramathorn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ramathorn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ramathorn looks to score with a jab to the body but Cruz is just out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Ramathorn misses the target.
Cruz takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Cruz is looking to clinch but Ramathorn is avoiding it.
Cruz fakes the leg kick and cracks Ramathorn in the body.
Ramathorn takes a swing at Cruz's ribcage but misses.

Cruz scores with a takedown into Ramathorn's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cruz is stalling in the full guard.

Cruz pushes down on Ramathorn's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ramathorn pushes Cruz off looking to stand but Cruz dives back in and keeps control.
Cruz is trying to control the action in half guard but Ramathorn is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cruz stops Ramathorn from getting back to his feet.
Ramathorn avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cruz.
Cruz wants to free his trapped foot but Ramathorn is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Ramathorn is looking to improve his position.
Cruz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ramathorn knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Cruz wants to control but Ramathorn is keeping him busy.
Cruz misses with a head shot. Ramathorn uses the momentum to regain guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Cruz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dani Cruz hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Ramathorn throws a body punch but Cruz moves out of range.
Ramathorn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cruz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Cruz tries to clinch there but Ramathorn circles away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ramathorn misses the shot to the body.
Ramathorn digs a good hook to Cruz's body.
Ramathorn throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Cruz looks gassed!
Ramathorn just misses with a punch to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Arcot Ramathorn dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Cruz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ramathorn changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ramathorn lands a nice looking body shot.
Ramathorn jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Ramathorn lands a right hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ramathorn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cruz was well out of range. Poor timing from Ramathorn.
Cruz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ramathorn connects with a looping right hand.
Ramathorn throws a monster overhand right that drops Cruz! Ramathorn follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
