And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Drake Vonstein!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dewitt moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Vonstein takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Vonstein avoids the body shot from dewitt.
dewitt throws the left hand but Vonstein avoids the punch easily.
Vonstein is trying hard to land a takedown here. dewitt sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Vonstein dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
dewitt throws a looping overhand right but Vonstein ducks down to avoid it.
dewitt throws a right and a left that both miss.

and Vonstein makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Vonstein shoots in for a takedown but dewitt shows good takedown defense.
Vonstein works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Vonstein throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Vonstein feints and as dewitt raises his hands in defense, Vonstein changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Vonstein in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Vonstein drops back looking for a leg! dewitt is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and dewitt manages to kick Vonstein off! Vonstein jumps back into dewitt's guard.

Vonstein thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed dewitt's head.

dewitt is staying active underneath Vonstein, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Vonstein wants to work for an arm triangle but dewitt is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Vonstein thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Vonstein is looking for a kimura but dewitt is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Vonstein to get the leverage.
Vonstein wants to lay and pray for a moment but dewitt keeps working.
