Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Showler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnie Yen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Showler's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, City Lights. Showler has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kevin Showler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Donnie Yen!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Showler walks forward, straight into a front kick from Yen.
Showler is breathing heavily.
Showler takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Donnie Yen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yen cracks the inside of Showler's front leg.
Yen tries to clinch but Showler is having none of it.
Yen tries to close the distance and clinch but Showler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Yen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Showler swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Yen lands a big head kick that sends Showler tumbling to the mat! Yen takes a step backwards and waves Showler back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Yen.
Yen plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Showler stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Yen.
The fight stays on the outside here - Yen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Yen! Showler is out on his feet! Yen rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Showler is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Showler is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Donnie Yen!
