Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vick Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikky Abby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikky Abby will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Abby displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Armstrong.
Armstrong lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Nikky Abby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abby throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Armstrong shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Abby pinned against the cage. Abby gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Armstrong stalks Abby and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Abby's face. Abby staggers backwards, shaken.

and Armstrong counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Abby is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Armstrong has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Armstrong is stalling here. Abby is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Armstrong seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Abby has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
