Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Quattro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin has chosen Killing In The Name as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Forrest Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Griffin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Quattro circles away quickly and effectively.
Quattro ducks under a wild hook from Griffin.
Quattro throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Quattro will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Quattro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Griffin's waist but Griffin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Quattro off to one side.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Quattro. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Griffin is looking to control Quattro's arms but Quattro gets an underhook and turns him. Now Griffin has his back to the cage.
