Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Casey Ryback (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nils Fredrik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nils Fredrik is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredrik shoots in but no luck this time.
Fredrik shoots for a takedown but Ryback saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ryback scoring well with a low kick there.
Horrible takedown by Fredrik or perhaps it was just good defense by Ryback which made him look bad.
Casey Ryback has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nils Fredrik.

Ryback is taking a breather. Fredrik says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Fredrik wants to improve his position but Ryback is controlling well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Fredrik had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ryback is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fredrik Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ryback's back instead.
Ryback manages to reverse the position and now he's in Fredrik's guard. Nice work there by Ryback.

Ryback has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Fredrik is trying to keep an underhook but Ryback manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Ryback seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fredrik for as long as he can get away with.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ryback wants to control but Fredrik passes easily into half guard.
Ryback is looking to control Fredrik's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ryback avoid being mounted?
Ryback is not content to let Fredrik control the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Fredrik takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Casey Ryback.
Well Ryback has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
