Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ragnvard Ranstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Flare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Flare has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ragnvard Ranstrom's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ragnvard Ranstrom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, John Flare! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ranstrom shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ranstrom is trying hard to land a takedown here. Flare sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ragnvard Ranstrom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Flare rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ranstrom moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ranstrom shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ragnvard Ranstrom. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ranstrom throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Flare sees it coming and avoids it easily. Ranstrom shoots in for a takedown but Flare shows good takedown defense. Ranstrom changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Flare tries to avoid it but Ranstrom manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Flare to the ground. Flare escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ranstrom looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Flare is fending him off so far but Ranstrom persists. Nope, Flare circles away and we're back to standing. A big left from Ranstrom misses. Ranstrom on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Ranstrom is breathing heavily. Flare leaves Ranstrom with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Flare uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ranstrom has time to react.
It looks like Ragnvard Ranstrom has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Flare decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Flare is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Ranstrom taking some punishment here, with Flare in his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flare wants to pass the guard but Ranstrom is defending well. Ranstrom is not content to let Flare control the position. Flare not doing much here.
Flare seems to be working for a kimura but Ranstrom defends the submission attempt. Ranstrom looking for subs from the bottom but Flare mounts him! Flare working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Ranstrom is rocked! Flare has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Flare swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
