Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Halibut Halibut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Dyrdek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halibut's entrance music is Peter You Suck. A fine choice. Dyrdek has chosen Dirty Girl as his entrance music. Rob Dyrdek struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Halibut Halibut could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rob Dyrdek's chin.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halibut scores with a one two! Dyrdek had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Halibut misses with a body kick.
Halibut Halibut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dyrdek shoots in for a double leg but Halibut sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Dyrdek shoots for a takedown but Halibut saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Dyrdek doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Halibut fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dyrdek.
Halibut blocks a head kick by Dyrdek.
No luck for Dyrdek with that takedown attempt.
Halibut Halibut has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Dyrdek.
Dyrdek looks gassed!
Halibut tries to bum rush Dyrdek with a series of wild strikes but Dyrdek uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Halibut misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dyrdek seems to have recovered his senses.

Halibut keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Halibut cracks Dyrdek with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Dyrdek tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Halibut pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Dyrdek is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Halibut Halibut!
