Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Horhe Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jullius cesar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jullius cesar will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. cesar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Smith throws a strike aimed at the side of cesar's head but cesar avoids it well.
Smith works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
cesar takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
cesar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Smith tries to advance to mount but can't.
cesar dodges the ground and pound from Smith.
Smith working the strikes but cesar uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
cesar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smith is working away from the top position though.
Smith lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
cesar trying to control from the bottom.
Smith thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed cesar's head.
Smith is pressing down on cesar's thigh, looking to free his foot. cesar is holding on for now.
Smith is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and cesar reverses the position - he's now on top in Smith's guard.

cesar stops Smith from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
cesar wants to stand but Smith is controlling his posture from full guard.
Smith is looking to stand up but cesar isn't so interested in that idea.
Smith trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
cesar passes Smith's left leg - he's now in half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Smith is looking to escape.
Smith wants to stand back up but cesar manages to pass into side control.
Smith is breathing heavily.
Smith is looking to work his way out of this bad position but cesar is controlling him well.
Smith bucks up and tries to throw cesar off but instead cesar has got his back!
cesar somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
cesar throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

cesar is cranking Smith's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Smith! He's tightened the choke and Smith is tapping out!
