Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, lewis brewer! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacobson shoots in for a double leg but brewer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. brewer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. brewer scores a takedown into full mount! Jacobson avoids a series of strikes thrown by brewer.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jacobson slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Jacobson wants to control but brewer is keeping busy and won't allow it. Jacobson is trying is best to control the position here. brewer escapes and gets back to his feet. brewer misses with a takedown attempt and Jacobson counters with a single leg into guard. brewer didn't expect that. Jacobson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We're going to have a standup here because Dan Jacobson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. brewer doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jacobson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. brewer wants to stand and escape but Jacobson is having none of it. Jacobson slips nicely into half guard. Jacobson is pressing down on brewer's thigh, looking to free his foot. brewer is holding on for now. Well, if Jacobson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down brewer for as long as he can get away with. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jacobson doesn't succeed with the takedown and brewer counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jacobson! lewis brewer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! brewer misses with some ground and pound and Jacobson recovers position to half guard. brewer is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dan Jacobson. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jacobson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
