Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luck Chiddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Utah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chiddell comes into the arena with DMX - Where my dogs at blaring out of the sound system. Utah has chosen Californaication by Red Hot Chili Peppers as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Utah pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Utah fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chiddell sprawls well initially but Utah persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Chiddell gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Chiddell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Utah on the ground.

Utah slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Chiddell throws a head kick that misses.

Chiddell closes the distance but Utah moves to the side

and Utah counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Utah.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Utah shoots in for a takedown but Chiddell shows good takedown defense.

Chiddell misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Utah has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Utah there as he acknowledges the shot.

Utah closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Chiddell breaks from the clinch.
Chiddell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luck Chiddell. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Utah scores a takedown into full mount!
Utah cracks Chiddell with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Utah controlling the position easily from mount.

Chiddell is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Utah locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Chiddell is forced to tap!
